Do Cheats Disable Achievements?

I'm stuck on one level pretty much. One where you gotta kill all those peeps or whatever in that sandy area. I mean I probably could beat it but it's just annoying at this point. Soooo just wanna do the 99 continues cheat just for that level and thennn back to 5. Will I still get the cheevo for beating that chapter and on.

Cheats disable some achievements, yes. I haven't tested myself but according to forum posts in the past "they only disable “Secrets of the Galaxy” but they may or may not disable more"

I heard there’s a mod that lets you get achievements but I don’t know if that info is accurate
