How to save the game?

Does some one know how can i save the game? Is my first time playing this master piece, im using a Steam Deck

It saves automatically. Within a level you have checkpoints (which only get used as long as you play the level) and then you have levels which are kind of "save points".

I didn't knew I had to finish an entire level to save.
But that's ok, levels are quite short.

It uses a system similar the old bs arcades and 16bit consoles of 5 lives then back to the start of the level
