A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one
You may be asking how you should purchase this game.

With all due respect, consoomers like you are the reason why companies like Aspyr think they can get away with selling half-baked, practically broken remasters without any consequence.

Maybe

At the same time, if they're going to sell half baked broken remasters without consequences, they'll do it whether I pre order or not

Imo, it looks like it'll be a fun old Star Wars game that will play great on Steam Deck, which is how I intend to play it

I think what Frosted is trying to say is: look at the Star Wars Battlefront collection that Aspyr released recently. You'd think you can't f-up a simple remaster, but Aspyr managed to do just that. It's trash.

This game is also being done by Aspyr. Collectively we all shouldn't pre-order Aspyr stuff until they push out good releases. By pre-ordering people are basically telling Aspyr 'yeah sure, we don't care if it's half baked. Here's our money!'

Unfortunately, the group that actually stays away from pre-ordering is very slim. That's a thing I've never understood though... Pre-ordering a digital game, like you can't get it when it's released. I only digitally pre-ordered one game and that game was Cyberpunk 2077. So yeah, it's not hard for me to stay away from pre-orders haha.
