Time Advance

I would like to see an option in settings to advance time as a toggle switch. Especially in off-line mode. When I quit farming for the day, I would like to pick up where I left off, and not automatically be advanced several seasons.

I don't understand why anyone would want to not have their crops ready for harvest when they start the game the next day. I wouldn't like my crops, fish, animals and things cooking in the house to not progress while I'm out of the game (I plant longer growing crops because I'm going to be out of the game longer).

Why do you want your crops to not grow when you're out of the game?
