This discussion has already been had like 3 times before, with the same bunch that keep starting new threads on this same topic... opportunist looking for arguments.
If I remember right the dev answered in the first thread that there won't be marriage or storylines in this game because they don't have a story writer on staff.
Besides the farming and other things you mentioned there is also the events that will be added soonish which are a big draw in the first game and will be in this game as well.
If they don't like what the game has to offer, or what will be added going by the roadmap, they can move on.
Actually, mskitty owns the game. Clearly, if she wanted to move on she would.
It's clear that you don't want the game (it'll bore you) so why then do you think the devs should change a game you don't own.. won't play cause you'll get too bored with it.. just because you want them to add a feature?
Somebody needs to move on alright, but it isn't mskitty.
Devs have said "marriage and kids" won't be added. Now you know this (and I'm sure you're familiar with the devs response to the last thread about this topic) game simply isn't a game for you.
'nuff said.
Thanks @mskitty I had forgotten it was because they didn't have a writer on staff.
And when those choices have already been made and don't fit your idea, it's time for you to move on.
If the devs have already said there won't be marriage to NPC's (and they HAVE) and you want to insist the game isn't worth playing without that (and you HAVE) there's nothing left to discuss and you're only here to argue.
It's already been decided. Have fun.
I only keep commenting because you keep commenting which forces me to respond. We are never going to agree so it is probably best if we stop responding to each other.
I didn't say they "might add" THIS feature (marriage to npc's and kids). And NO, they won't add it to the "main" game (good grief, you can't force it on everyone that plays the game).
They've already said they will NOT add marriage to NPC's. Only that they might consider adding DLC that would allow marriage between players. NOT between a player and NPC's and NO kids. and you can already pretend that anyway. So go pretend that.
They don't have the writers for what you want. Chose not to see that part too, huh?
You can stop responding at any time you so choose to. You stop telling lies and I'll consider not responding.
Again, go have fun in whatever game you want to. If it's this one, awesome. If it's not this one, awesome.
We have answered this person/people over and over again that marriage to NPC's will Not be
added to this game.
It's a mute topic that has turned into spamming this forum.
I was already very surprised that you two got involved in this discussion.
There are posts that don't need to be commented on any further. This is one of them.
Thank you Followlon, you and mskitty are both right.
Some things won't be added because they don't match the direction of the game itself, and it has nothing to do with whether the game is in the early access stage, and there are some farm sims that will have love elements, because these themselves are more inclined to simulate a new life, and this game is only biased towards farming, planting, and harvesting. If you still think you should add a love element, then I'll give you my opinion, I like guns, zombies, flying spoons, and sprinklers that can cook automatically, and I hope to add these things to the game :)
The reason why I got involved in this discussion was for the hope that people in this community will understand the motives behind this thread. It's a widespread problem with this bunch across multiple forums on multiple topics that unsuspecting people keep getting sucked into.
And you are absolutely right that these posts don't need to be commented on any further, and I hope that people see that now.
