Farmhands!!!!!

Haven't had chance to play yet:( can someone tell me how they are working. How much are they costing. How long do they last ( last ones where a max of 4 hours) and can you use them offline now? How much space do they cover?

Upgrading them costs a lot. I have 15 now and the last upgrade cost almost 4900 vegetables. You start out with 2 after you place the farmhand union in town and have to upgrade to get more. They work for four hours each max. Don't know if that will change. Need almost 2700 spices for the next upgrade. They cover a 9X9 grid which I think is less than in FT!. That was 13X13 if I remember right. But we get more of them in this game so that might be why the area is smaller. I've never played either game offline so I don't know the answer to that question. They are awesome and seem to be faster than in the first game. Hope this helps.

Correction: You can increase their area up to 17x17. Also you can order them to plant crops.

Yes I love that all you have to do is click on the farmhand and the interface comes up with so many settings. All of mine are accurately covering 17x17 with a ton of trees!

They are the time your farmhands work. You pay for it with ribbons.

I had no idea. I was sad that they only covered half of the area that they did in the first game. I didn't realize you could expand it and cover even MORE than the first game. Thank you!

If I recycle my farm, do I lose all of my farmhands I have unlocked?

Once farmhands are unlocked they stay unlocked. Just recycled my farm. Had to once I realized they were adjustable. Easier than trying to refigure where everyone goes. So am in the process of that now just to warn any visitors.

When I went to the Farmhands Union, I upgraded to 16. But when I click the buttons, it says I don't have any farmhands yet. How do I get farmhands???

Once on your farm you go to the shop.. same section where the sprinklers and houses are at. You can buy as many as you have unlocked (and have the ribbons/medals for).

Yes. that's your farmhand.. once you place it you click on the stall to change the settings to what you want them to be.
