Confused over "Cost of Cooking"
Sorry, new to the game and only just completed my first Farm House. So I buy the stove to do some cooking and it tells me the cost to make a simple "Fried Egg" is 750 coins (which I don't understand the point of but...) and will require 1 Egg... It's cooked in 2 Stages and it takes the cost of 750 coins off me when I click to begin stage 1, then when I click to begin stage 2 it takes the same 750 coins AGAIN!!! 1500 coins to make a fried egg?

Oh.. and WHY are we limited to only 2 stoves.. To get the benefits of supplying a Restaurant with food we should be able to cook more at a time no?

I kinda wish I'd bought the game some time ago because the Xmas Event doesn't really benefit people with new and small farms. Can't really afford to plant many of the Giftbox's and wish they cost diamonds to plant and gave cash in return not the other way around.

Events in Farm Together 2 do not help you to make money, but to get exclusive rewards of the events.
To make money, diamonds or medals, you have to work hard and set up your own management of the farm, so that it grows and multiplies your earnings.
If you need money, I can help you by donating favor that I have accumulated by helping other farms.
In this regard, however, I will need your access code to come and donate the favor to you.
I have already followed this procedure to help my cousin with her farm and for her it was a good help.
Obviously, before letting someone enter your farm, adjust the settings for guests/friends who will enter.

As for cooking in houses, well... those are the rules of the game.
Each dish is made in multiple phases and each phase requires a payment.
The payment can be in money, diamonds or resources... or a combination of them.
But once your farm grows, this will not be a problem.

Oh no.. I do understand about events not for making money, but newer farms like mine haven't had enough time to build up enough to be able to afford to grow the event products en mass. Unlike all other crops, you get back a profit in coins from the cost of planting them but the event crops don't so it's very costly to grow them with no return.

My main concern for the post was about the cost of cooking coming out twice like the 750 for the fried eggs. It specifically says that 1 item will cost 750 but it takes everything twice, once for each step. I don't want to waste more cash checking to see if the 3 or 4 step recipes takes the cost 3-4 times.. lol

Edit - I guess a better way of them explaining the process would be to simply state the cost of the fried egg will be 1,500 and 1 Egg instead of making it look like it's bugged and is taking payment twice.

This is not entirely true.
If you go to "Settings -> How to play -> Works" when you enter the game, you will find this exact information:

"You can build special Tools in Houses that allow you to perform Jobs.
When interacting with the tool, you'll get a list of available products to build.
These products take a number of steps to be completed, each one requiring a payment in money and/or resources.
Upon finishing the task, you'll earn money and specialized resources."

As you can see, it is correctly specified that each step is paid.
It is true, at the beginning it is hard to complete some of the game's requests, but it is a phase that lasts a very short time if you structure your farm in order to produce money and diamonds.
The medals, you will initially obtain by completing the missions and later, also by harvesting spices which, however, will only be unlocked from a certain level onwards.

And I'll tell you something else.
You are currently almost in the final phase of early access which should end in spring 2025.
I am one of those players who started, if I remember correctly, in May of this year and the game was very different and much more difficult.
The development team, has fixed some aspects of the game that were too difficult especially for new players, but this required a lot of work and a lot of time.
Today, starting a new farm from scratch, is much less demanding than 6 months ago.

No worries and thanks. I'll get there eventually. Really enjoying the game so far but these few things I just wasn't so sure about. I get that its the way things are but the devs are also looking for ways to improve it so.. Maybe they will see this and think about it at least.

No matter.. I finally joined someone elses farm and have completed a few goals so there is that.. I'm not sure my own farms are worth putting online just yet seeing how small they are but one day.. :)
