Before you harvest write down your diamond count, then harvest one, then do the math with how many diamonds you actually collected, if you do this for every rock before you harvest you will see a big inconsistency with how many diamonds you are actually getting off of each one for money spent on harvesting cost.
Also check your inventory for green gems after harvesting each rock before going to the next rock to harvest.
No, it should be 1 for each time you've placed them (basically once for every time you've paid the price).
"Planted" includes every time you've placed the item, even if you later replaced it with something else. So at some point you probably had Iron, replaced it with something else, and then replaced it with Iron again.
It was 35%, we increased it to 50% in a patch later.
That's definitely wrong... I think this may be happening because when we changed so you increase item level even if the mine was unsuccessful, it may also be increasing the "Success" stats. We'll fix it in a later patch (although the stats will remain wrong... we'll see if we can do something about it).
"Money spent" includes money from the item placement (in diamonds, usually once per table) and mining attempts (in coins). Money earned is money obtained from mining.
No, not really. While we were aware of the possibility of having more than one mine (just like with houses), we didn't really plan for people going for it on a dedicated basis. So when fully (or almost) unlocked, a single mine would take some time to work with.
If you recycle a mine, you'll recycle its contents, and if you build it again later, you'll need to unlock the new areas again. We'll probably need to disallow recycling or include the unlock price in the recycle value so it's not accident prone...
