So we've changed to shape/category based resources, which offers a few more potential categorizations (although for now we've kept the same amount of resources).
Not sure what you mean about the layout. You can use the same layout as before, it's not like quests ask for specific resources, and aside from production building or recipes, most flower resources can be sold at the same shop, so there's no specific advantage to grouping them by a common resource.
Honey still wants all of the different resources or not?
Would like to sort so I can go about harvesting the colour/shape I need most at the moment and leave the others for when I complete quest.
Sure, I can put the flowers all random and such but that would make that part of the farm wholly inefficient.
But changing all the flowers to type instead of colour is quite the hassle!
I'll deal with it np. As I'm sure most of us will do.

This! It seems the main complaints people have about the latest update (aside from sunflowers being short) is that it messes up their farm layout, but that's to be expected when playing early access....
