I would prefer to have higher respawn times rather than have random items every 2 hours. Before the update I had 10 jades set up and would have had 10 jades ready for the company dinner quest that needed 10 to complete. Since it was random, I only got 9 and now have to wait another 2 hours to potentially get the last one. I can't imagine how many days or hours it would take me to get 10 rubies for a quest. Only three rubies popped up in the four areas that I've unlocked.

Visually it's ruining my vibes as well. I really enjoy having things put in their little areas and having control of what things go where. With the mushrooms added recently it would be a lot more fun to colour coordinate the ores with the mushrooms. Can't do that if the ores are random.

Longer respawn times for higher level ores and, if for whatever reason random mechanic is a must have, bring back random chances of getting higher amount to diamonds is something I currently prefer. Another idea I would settle on is that each area has a set ore. 10 of whatever ore. Players will be able to know what ore the area will contain before unlocking it. Maybe some areas can be open to allow people to pick which ores they want to put on each pillar to allow those that want to be a little creative.

With that said I do appreciate devs trying different mechanics with the mines, but I find this current version of the mine mechanic makes the game and experience for me, not fun. Sorry if it's wordy. Just trying to do my best to explain what I don't like about it and offering other ways to make it a more enjoyable experience. For the most part I've been enjoying playing farm together 2. :)

Hi! Thank you for the feedback. We'll stick with this for now, as we don't plan on going back to the previous system.

A couple comments on your feedback.

You won't get quests asking for 10 rubies, unless your farm has a very high level and the quest is a long one, and even in that case, with a couple tables set with priority for them, you should be able to get 10 rubies in 2 harvest cycles, 3 at most.

There's a setting to override the visual looks of minerals to match the ones set in the table.

Thank you for pointing out the visual setting. The random items were off-putting to me. Very thoughtful setting.

I have an area with ruby set as the priority table and only one spawned there. This is my first spawn experience though. I took a month or so break so I'm not sure the on going rate of priority tables. I'm not thrilled about the rates so far though. Maybe in the future you guys can noodle on the idea of areas have set ores in them so people can rely of having set amount of ores they can count on.

I appreciate the response even if it wasn't everything what I wanted to hear. Thanks :)
