Copy/Duplicate farm save
Since there's no creative mode or such in this. Is there any way to copy my farm save like we could in FT1 so we can play around with designs?

Though making creative mode farms would be a nice feature on another note.

Your farms are saved here:
C:\Users\name\AppData\LocalLow\Milkstone Studios\FarmTogether2\SteamStorage\76561198064894770\farms

Does anyone know how to change the level to max so a creative type mode can be done. I know in FT1 there was a way, is there in FT2?

I am aware of where the farm file is. Though I can't figure out how to copy it. If I make an extra copy and label it like farm_1 or farm_2 still doesn't seem to show up extra farms.

On another note now that throws a wrench into things. Was hoping to just give my wife's pc one of my farm saves so she can just play and decorate on her pc. But seems like that's going to be an issue too if you cant just drop or place a save in the farm folder to show up.

In order for the farm to be displayed, you first have to create a new farm.
The first farm is always called farm_0, a second farm then farm_1 (and so on).
It's best to go through the tutorial once for this new farm (I don't think you can skip it) otherwise it will continue to run in the overwritten farm.

You then copy the farm_0 file into any folder and rename it to farm_1.
Right-click on the file name to copy it (to the clipboard) and then go to the game folder and paste it there again with a right-click (select the option to overwrite target file).

When you then start the game, the entry for the newly created farm is initially visible in the list. The values change after you have played it once.

Your wife also has to create a farm first. Since she probably doesn't have her own yet, you don't have to rename your farm_0 for her.

Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to simply read and change the save files.
I use Cheat Engine to achieve the desired results.

What features should the farm have that you have in mind?

That worked great for her thanks!
I still cant figure it out.. Can i copy a farm to an other steam account, or is it bound? If so, could you please tell me how to do it?

Me and my wife bought this game to play together. But she doesnt play it as much i do. But the problem is, that she host the farm. So every time i want to play, i need to turn on her pc to go on the farm.

I just want to copy the farm to my steam account, so i can play it without turning her pc on.

Please help me if there is a solution for this.
You have to copy the following files from your wife's computer:
- Path
windows C:\Users\yourwife(username)\AppData\LocalLow\Milkstone Studios\FarmTogether2\SteamStorage\steam ID in numbers (17 digits)
-Files: farms.bak and farms.mlk
- complete folder: farms

and then paste these into the path of your computer.
the "AppData" folder is a hidden folder; so you have to display it in the folder settings of Windows.
If you have already created your own farm and want to keep it, other steps must be taken first. Let me know if that is the case
