Help on other farms and then activate the "goodwill points" in the city. They give you double XP.
The game does not rush you and as we have discussed several times in the forum, growing or leveling up will not give you any advantage.
You will never be offered missions with impossible objectives.
You will only be able to sow and collect elements that have already been unlocked.
So as far as I am concerned, the advice I feel like giving you is... enjoy the game without rushing.
Set objectives, it is right to do so, but do it enjoying the process.
If you take it as a race, you will probably reach your objective, totally exhausted and the game could annoy you.
Take it as a marathon, follow a correct pace and enjoy every moment of the experience that FT2 offers you.
Then of course, this is my point of view.
As they have already suggested, you will find guides on the web for a faster exp.
I didn't follow any of this because I started playing FT2 when these guides didn't exist yet.
I followed my own scheme and today, I have a nice 7 x 7 farm with everything needed to satisfy the requests of the missions or events.
I hope you find "your" way to play and that this can make you enjoy the opportunities of the game 100%.
The only clove tree I know of is unlocked at level 75
If you are open to playing on others' farms, you can go help other people on their farms and that will provide xp for player level and Favor that can be used as Triss said.
As for what I personally do when I want to quickly level, I will mostly use the above tactics as they seem to work well for me, but I am a bit of a more casual player and will usually only try to fast level when I've created a new farm and want to hurry to unlock the things I already know I want to do but are higher level.
1. Plant a small, permanent run of every crop you have and only harvest them when the season is correct for replanting. In other words, replant the same crop and harvest at the same time. This means that you will always make a profit on those crops every time you harvest them. This will stop you from running out of coins and ensure your coins go upwards continually. If you plant and harvest lettuce but then replant garlic, for instance, you will make an instant loss and your coins will go down, making it difficult to plant other crops.
2. I always tell myself to speculate to accumulate. Don't be afraid to spend all your coins just before leaving the game. Plant the most valuable crops you can and harvest them the next time you log in and repeat this just before you log off each time. Keep a field free for when you want to log out so you can plant a high profit crop before leaving.
3. Plant long rows of trees by season. For example, 9 apples, followed by 9 lemons, 9 pears, etc for all your spring trees, then complete another run of all trees which can be harvested in summer, etc. This can build up diamonds and experience points really quickly I would also plant single runs of each tree for quests. Don't underestimate the value of trees.
4. The more of each item you harvest, the more they grow in value so make sure you plant and harvest a good variety of crops continually.
5. Make getting around the farm as easy and fast as possible by teleporting to different areas or by placing things randomly between other things. This means that you can quickly pick up a long row of fish at the same time as you harvest a run of corn. Mix flowers in with trees to benefit from picking up both items at the same time.
6. Don't underestimate the value of wishing wells. They pay out 25 diamonds frequently.
7. Never harvest a crop without replanting something. If you want the land to be free for a quest but you don't know what you will need, plant lettuces which will only take up 10 minutes of play time but will give you experience points and extra diamonds.
8. If you have filled your farm with items but it is not working out as well as you hoped, don't be afraid to reset your farm. As long as your farm is fairly full of stuff, you can come out on top plus you will have more experience of what does and doesn't work for you.
9. The more you do on your farm, the quicker you level up, so while playing, plant reasonably fast growing crops so that you can complete several harvests during one gameplay. I planted and harvested a lot of lettuce, corn and Carolina potatoes in the early days and it worked well for me. And I reset my farms quite a few times while working out the best layout.
I currently have one farm on level 213, another farm on 179 and one on 54. Admittedly, I do spend a fair amount of time playing :) But the above tips have helped me get there.
