Dear Devs, can it be done?

A couple of thoughts:
I know I'm not the only one who has requested that the farmhands work "offline" or when you are in a 2nd/3rd farm. Correct me if I am wrong, but was this not a feature in FT1? I swear I remember them working after I logged off for the day. If it was, why can't it be implemented here? IMO it would make the 2nd/3rd farm slots more appealing.
Also, is there a way to allow the player to decide how the farmhands get paid, and how long that payment should last? For example: I want my farmhand to work 6h today, and I want to pay them in gold not ribbons.
Can the farmhands have the full 18x18 square? My farmhands are sitting around for half a season. I don't see why they can't have the extra space.
Lastly, please let us enter the farmhand menu without having to pay them first.

1. I have near 1200 hrs in FT1 but I think farmhands don't work when your game gets closed.
2. In FT2 about farmhands payment ... individual's payment possible going to their stands or in the farmhands union in the town for all of them for min of 1hr & max of 4hrs. So for 6 hrs (4+1+1) is currently possible. Payment via other than ribbons? yeah only devs can ans. :)
3. Farmhands have 17 x 17 squares while permission booths have 18 x 18. Farmhands can be placed middle or at the corner of the area. Notice the grids when you cover the 17 x 17 area and you can identify their range. Zoom out max. helps a lot.

I can confirm that Farmhands do not work offline in Farm Together. If they did when they were first introduced, it did not last very long.

I have over 2,600 hours in Farm Together (the first game) and I can assure you they did not work if you were not on your farm.
