It would make more sense if the shops gained experience by trading with them and then leveled up. Plus a few gold pieces to invest. Now you could understand it and you are not forced to deliver items that are not at all in keeping with the shop.
if a certain number of items have been received, the amount of money could be requested for the upgrade.
so if you are at the shop anyway to sell items, there could be a display in the improvement area that shows how many items have been received and as soon as the required number is reached you can click the upgrade button and the amount of money will be retained.
Exactly, I am thrilled.
I do play a lot, but if I didn't it would simply take longer to do the same thing.
As far as the diamonds I've spent next to nothing on decorations, I save them for buying new plots and I have plenty on hand for when I need them for shop upgrades. I understand people wanting to decorate but all the good fluff is not in the game yet, it will come once the events start and with the dlc's. Plus they might add some diamond trees or crops.
Exactly. This game is more complex with the leveling and requires a different strategy than the first game, people are struggling figuring this out. I view the diamonds as a rare commodity that should be hoarded until all plots are unlocked and all shops are maxed out on levels.
Farm embellishments can be done once all the available land has been unlocked and the shops are maxed out.
At that moment, it will then be possible to redesign the entire farm with all the embellishments you want.
I play alone and I don't have that much time to dedicate to the game, having many things to do during my day.
But in any case, I have managed to bring almost all the shops to level 90 for the moment, my farm is at level 179 and I have found a good production system that allows me to grow without difficulty.
But I haven't dedicated the time and resources to making either the farm or the house beautiful.
Upon entering the house, there are only two stoves for cooking, the piano and the tripod for painting in addition to the basic furniture supplied with the house.
For now, I only spend diamonds on shop upgrades and to buy the latest available land.

In any case though, just to take everyone into consideration, actually starting a new farm here on FT2 with the idea of tackling the growth of the shops again bothers me.
It must be said, however, that FT1 also had its difficult points... do we want to remember the buildings that multiplied the value of crops, flowers, fish, animals and trees?
It took a lifetime to bring them to the max.
In the end, it's probably right to encounter some difficulties to reach the maximum...otherwise, what's the point of playing.
My house looks just like yours, lol. And on the farm the only thing I've bought is fencing to separate the animals when I run out of the free fencing that comes with the new plots, and I've made good use out of all the freebie cement paths. I'm getting rather annoyed with all of the free fish though, I mean how many clowns does one need.
Me too.
