I'm just not sure if I would be willing to level up all the items again for a differently designed farm. :D
I would rather make a copy of my existing farm and overwrite the files of a new farm with it (all you need to do is rename the file from farm_0 to farm_1).
Then reset the farm and replant everything, arranging it in a way that would suit a theme.
Let town shop levels be common to all my farms.
I too want to make multiple "themed" farms but the current shop situation is really putting me off doing so.
This would also make the town feel more substantive? special? I don't know what the right word is. It would make me feel more ownership over the town and like it more :)
I really, really, really hope the dev's seriously consider retaining upgraded shops for future farms. This would keep me playing for years to come!
I'm not nearly maxing out anything on my farm yet, but in the future I would ike a specialized/themed farm and having to grow all itmes so I can have veggies and fruits and eggs to upgrade a flower shop seems like a big waste of time if I was going for a flower-only farm! For example.
