My farm is private and with the shops at 55, I can manage everything comfortably.
In fact, between sowing, the growing time of the crops and the harvesting of the same, I am able to sell alternately and without waiting between just two shops and obtain a good income of diamonds.
I manage to grow adequately and by the time I'm beyond level 160, I can't complain.
The only time I ran into problems with being able to sell everything I wanted to was when I wasn't planting enough of a variety of things.
There is a 'balance' there. If you aren't planting enough of a variety, you will need to make more trips to town.
We aren't meant to 'hoard' resources and only go to town every real world day.
With most of your shops at 100 what does your storage capacity look like? In another thread somebody thought max storage was 5000, but I saw some charts in a guide and it looked like the max for storage is 3040.
I don't recall each shop individual items, but as an example: my veggies cap is 4595 but my lettuce cap is 3560. Likewise, my pears can hold 4595 but apple and lemon have a cap of 3560. This is with the warehouse at 100 and the fruit shop and veggie shop both at 100 as well.
Jenny I don't think the diamonds will ever come 'easy' for us. That seems to be by design (and I'm not complaining, mind you, but I understand what you're saying).
It is my hope that giving them time (because it is EA) will allow them to see that getting the diamonds IS a grind (and maybe they didn't intend it to be -that much- of a grind).
Yes, the first game offered us many ways to get diamonds.. flowers, trees, crops, and fish.. and this one might very well get there.. but the good news is that you can always start a new farm (even on the old game) while waiting for this one to 'catch up', so to speak.
We just have to be patient. It's clear they are working hard at this and it's an awesome game, imo.
If you start a new farm here.. there's one thing I'm pretty sure of.. you will soooo much more appreciate how far you've gotten with your first farm (because the beginning was way, way harder than the higher levels).
Meanwhile, lets all beg for oregano like it was in FT1?
Please, please, please give us a diamond producing plant, flower or tree (or all of these)!
