EDIT TO ADD - can't play online at all ... time out every single time. (even trying to join someone else's farm/s)
I give up.
PhotonCloudTimeout usually is caused by an unstable connection to the regional server. Please check that you don't have any firewall preventing/limiting connections, or other problems.
It doesn't seem to me to be a user malfunction, because it's sporadic. I can play for 3-4 days in a row and not get kicked once, and then the next day get kicked 5 times in one session. I'm no tech expert but it sure behaves like the servers are getting bogged down during peak traffic.
I never got kicked once in FT1, why is it such a problem in this game?
1. Exited fully out of steam (When crashing with this error during game play this usually fixes it)
2. Ran Steam as administrator
3. Deleted temp window files
4. Cleared Steam cache
5. Restarted PC
6. Uninstalled Farm Together 2 and reinstalled
7. Reset router
8. Restarted PC a second time
4 of my family members are playing this. We all have crashed with this "PhotonCloudTimeout" error during game play. This is my first time trying to load the game with the error and I cannot play online. I am having zero internet issues. Hopefully it gets fixed soon!
Meanwhile, switching to a different region should work
