now feathers instead of lettuce?
Before the update, 3 shops wanted lettuce for the next upgrade. Now they each want 600 feathers and I was only able to buy the first duck. Why? :O
Congratulations to those who leveled up their shops before the update :D

Currently the only outliers are vegetables and fruit, that are considered as more common (not because they have low growth times, but because there are lots of items producing them), and big fish, which is considered more rare because it has a minimum growth time of 3 hours.

That said, feathers should probably be set to a higher rarity. We'll consider it for a future update, as that would also come with a change to storage capacity.

Hi! That's because feathers was a "locked" resource before the update, and locked resource would be replaced with common ones (such as lettuce). With the update, the feather resource is no longer locked, and can show up in upgrade requests.

In other words, you had a lot of upgrades that were actually feathers replaced by greens.

Other resources such as honey or jam remain as "locked" in regards to shop upgrades, but it can happen the same (amounts for these resources will be lower, as they're considered of a higher rarity).

Unfortunately, the quantities are not smaller. Instead of 600 lettuce, I now have to deliver 600 feathers. I can make 600 lettuce on my quest field. But how long will it take me to make 600 feathers?

Yes, feathers aren't considered a rare resource. I meant honey and jam will be.

The first duck takes over 5 hours to produce a feather; I can make a salad in 5 minutes. Should I seriously bring hundreds of ducks to the farm to fulfill these upgrades?

Of all the animal resources, feathers seem to be the rarest at the moment.
Even the first cow only needs 2.5 hours to produce milk, and before the first sheep came, bamboo dropped wool so that you could stock up.
With feathers, it's now basically gone from 0 to 100, from one moment to the next.
By the way, I can't remember an upgrade requiring so much milk.
But well... I think that's a bit harsh... but if that's how it's supposed to be, then so be it.

probably it feels different after the EA when you start from scratch with the whole content
