In other words, you had a lot of upgrades that were actually feathers replaced by greens.
Other resources such as honey or jam remain as "locked" in regards to shop upgrades, but it can happen the same (amounts for these resources will be lower, as they're considered of a higher rarity).
Even the first cow only needs 2.5 hours to produce milk, and before the first sheep came, bamboo dropped wool so that you could stock up.
With feathers, it's now basically gone from 0 to 100, from one moment to the next.
By the way, I can't remember an upgrade requiring so much milk.
But well... I think that's a bit harsh... but if that's how it's supposed to be, then so be it.
probably it feels different after the EA when you start from scratch with the whole content
Currently the only outliers are vegetables and fruit, that are considered as more common (not because they have low growth times, but because there are lots of items producing them), and big fish, which is considered more rare because it has a minimum growth time of 3 hours.
That said, feathers should probably be set to a higher rarity. We'll consider it for a future update, as that would also come with a change to storage capacity.
