Farm Together 2

Farm Together 2

Early access / full release date
Will progress be reset when early access is over or will we keep our hard earned stuff as a thank you for participating in the early access time?

Imho, resetting does not make any sense to me and not appealing to play as much as I want.

why should the progress be reset if its also singleplayer?

Because some companies reset progress on full release date.
Perhaps @WaaghMan can enlighten us on the matter?
Devs have said that there should be no reason that saves/progress should be lost on full release/update.

If I understand it correctly, mostly, saves and progress upon full release/major update resetting occurs in Alpha and other very early development because there are major changes to the way the game works that is not compatible with how it worked previously, causing errors, crashes, and other game breaking bugs. These devs seem to work things in while making them to prepare for future updates and implementations in a way that everything usually doesn't crash when implementing something new, or at least don't mind so much going in to straighten everything out afterwards. Another thing I love about them. It doesn't necessarily make other devs bad, but it does make these ones great! ^_^ <3

We don't plan on forcing a farm reset at any point. The only case would be if we accidentally break something that makes a farm unusable with no chance of recovery. But we'll do our best to avoid that, of course :).

So once you get around events, will you still work with the newer limits to event crops? And what would you do if you change those limits to a lower number? I know in the first game I have a farm that has way more halloween event trees then the limit would allow because they were all placed before the limit was implemented. Haven't dared to recycle that farm since.
