How many diamonds do you need to lower the entire map...? Its too expenisve. At least lowering it shouldn't cost anything. Or just select a flat map like in part 1.
I don't know how many diamonds to flatten the entire map.. I don't have the entire map unlocked.
I don't find the cost unreasonable.. and diamonds are super easy to get.. the game gives you far more trees than you could ever need.. and that's free diamonds by simply harvesting them and going to town.. it's not supposed to be something just handed to us.. it should require some effort.. and I'm having fun putting in that 'effort'.
The entire map is massive. Work on it a few sections at a time. By the time I hit level 30 and unlocked terraforming, I had about 8 map segments unlocked and 8,000 diamonds saved up. which was more than enough to flatten all of it (though I left a couple hills for aesthetics, still had thousands of diamonds leftover).
This confused me as well (someone had to explain it to me, too). Despite what it says, you only need the ribbons. The xp is what you get for placing it, it's not a requirement for doing that. You can't accumulate xp to sell anyway, it just keeps increasing. So just get the 20 ribbons from quests and then you can put down the terraforming shop.
