Report a translation problem
Some scattered across the fields, others immediately near the teleports.
The fuel tank is nice, but having so many of them scattered around the farm isn't exactly nice to look at.
I also preferred the FT1 gas station.
But since the developers are very active on the game, it's probable that they will implement it in one of the next updates...maybe.
The Fuel Depot also refuels but the Tractor has to refuel 5x more often.
Change doesn't mean improvement.
I'm not finding the need to refuel 5x more often.
It was a little tougher at lower levels, but it all evened out as I leveled.
Different.. doesn't mean bad.
On my 3x3 farm in FT2 i have 10 Fuel Depot.
Different...could be bad.
Here in FT2, I have a 4x4 farm at the moment and I bought 6 Fuel tank.
Four of them, are near the crops area, one at the starting point and another one near the trees area.
I hidden nicely that on the trees area, but the other, are very well visible and surely, in the future, with the farm expansion, I'll must to buy some more.

Yes, I struggled with enough gas in the early levels (to level 50 maybe).
I believe the thing to remember here is that the tanker in FT2 is akin to the pump in FT1 (and comparing it to the gas station simply isn't fair).
I have over 3K peppercorn planted (in addition to my other crops and trees, and flowers). I have to get gas after one of my largest fields, but the only time I actually run out now is when I forget to look at how much is left in the tank.
Change.. or differences.. can be either good or bad.. but with the changes here in FT2 I've simply changed how I look at the game and other than the 'ugly' factor, the gas and refueling in FT2 is absolutely comparable to FT1.
I'm also not playing as if it's a factory.. or the most productive.. I'm playing it for the fun it is.
We all may have different playstyles and maybe the refueling issues you're having is because your playstyle is different than mine.
Actually that's pretty similar. 25 medals vs 20. Not that the two can really be compared, anyway (fuel consumption in FT2 is way higher because of auto tractor and faster animations).
We'll look into increasing the amount of fuel the depot can hold, but not the refill rate (so it can refill, or almost, your tank, but it won't refill itself much faster).
Why does the fun of auto tractor needs to be spoiled by a related unrealistic annoyance,
Why is it "unrealistic" to need to refuel (the "unrealistic annoyance" you refer to seems to be simply refueling)?
I suppose the biggest difference between our playstyles is that I don't use that auto tractor very much (maybe if I did I'd have similar problems.
My character level is 114 (I think) and farm is 122. I don't need more than 3 tankers to fully refill gas.. but now I've learned to pop over to the tankers periodically so that I never need 3 at a time.
My garage level is around 35 so maybe that makes a difference too. Also, I guess if you have helpers (visitors) you'd need more gas than I do (because I play solo and your visitors need gas in order to help).
It sounds like the devs are willing to look into it though (that's awesome) so I wish you good luck!
-A Fuel Depot contains less fuel than a tractor...
-A Tractor that needs to refuel after auto cropping for 2 minutes, it's just a bad new feature.
A Gas station to level up so it can refuel dozens of Tractors instead of just one, agreed.
An instant full refuel costing lotsa money, agreed.

1, Upgrade the garage this will increase your tank capacity and refill time
2, place tanks around the farm, i prefer the tanks to the stations (farms have tanks not petrol stations with a little shop full of snacks)
My garage is at level 40, with that i have 15 tanks dotted about the farm, and i never run out.
I struggled for the first week with fuel but since putting some effort i have it so it works and i increase the garage as the farm grows
But in any case, 15 trailers with a diesel tank...
It's not a farm, but an oil company warehouse.
