Stopwatch useless?

I decided to buy a stopwatch to try it out. I used it and then had my hero use the toilet. At the start, the toilet timer was about 90% full, about what you'd expect after using an item that takes 10% off the activity time. Once she finished using the toilet, I examined the bladder meter. It was only part of the way full. Did I pay 120 gold just so that my hero would take an incomplete dump?
