If This Game Sells Maybe We'll Get a Remake of MGS 2

Imagine a remake of MGS 2 with the cut content (showing Arsenal Gear crashing into NYC, which was cut since 9/11 was a recent event at the time of release) restored.

I still remember playing that game in November 2001 and being floored at the difference in graphics from the first game on PS1.

How so? Wasn't the cut content Kojima's idea anyway? It was cut by Konami, not him.

Kojima had involvement on what stuff had to be cut/censored from what I have read.

1.Arsenal gear cutscene
2.Some dialogues which had the word "terrorist"
Were cut from the game.

You know, one thing that would be cool with an MGS2 remake is that we could buy some skins for Raiden, like Raikov skin, Cyborg Suit Raiden, 8bit Raiden and such. Or a mod would do that.

What probably happened is that some suits at Konami "asked" Kojima to remove that, and then "he" did. Something similar happened with GTA III, the Dodo (a small plane) can't fly because of 9/11. I don't think the devs wanted to put a plane that can't fly in the game, but they were forced advised to.

That would be amazing, the story's themes are more relatable now than ever. Plus getting to see a Unreal Engine 5 Solid Snake and Raiden would be amazing

When I first saw Raiden I immediately recognized his voice because Quinton Flynn voiced Jonny in the second season of the 90s version of Jonny Quest just a few years prior. This was when I was just starting to recognize the same voices in different shows and it happened even more when I started watching dubbed anime.
