Even developers such as Crystal Dynamic, hangar 13,CD project red stopped making their own in house graphic engine and switched to Unreal 5.
Capcom's Dragon's Dogma 2 and Monster Hunter Wilds would have been much better if they were made with Unreal 5.(They used RE engine and both games were a disaster performance wise)
Yup, because it's a PS3 game. More stuff on screen = less fps. And porting can't always fix stuff like this, the GTA IV port for example still has some issues because the game was primarily designed for the PS3.
