Master collection Vol. 2 release date

Now we know MGS Delta Snake Eater is coming this fall, what's your guess for when Master Collection Vol. 2 is coming? I guess Q4 2026 would probably make sense.

Maybe summer 2026? I don't think they'll release it this year.

I'll give some unofficial details.

Konami never gave some official release date before because they know there would be a backlash If they delayed the release (granted some will always complain no matter what but MGS5 was delayed a lot because of kojima), released plan would have been MGS DELTA in march and the MGS VOL2 6-8 month later.

Due to people nitpicking about MGS VOL1 who wanted a remastered collection for a low price (MGS fans ask for ports of the old games and they complain that It's 20$ for MGS1/2/3 pack, 60$ for seven games) so they prefered to release VOL2 at a 1.5 state rather than release the games at 1.0 then update it to a 1.5 levels.

So yeah 2026 for VOL2 doesn't look impossible.

Now sure some may say "But why not release VOL2 now to wait for MGS DELTA ?" well Konami keep receiving bad opinions, not that they care much aside the PR team and VOL1 made a good profit but why try to please people that don't support you overall ? Konami isn't hungry for money when you check their yearly income so sadly the wait is due to the people complaining a lot.

It's funny how Silent Hill fans used to envy use since we kept getting MGS games and now we'll envy them If they keep getting remakes and we don't.

Oh well If MGS franchise die I still won't buy death stranding.
