METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER

METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER

MGS Delta is a steal at $69.99. Here's why.
A remake of a classic. I paid $50 USD in 2004 for MGS3 on PS2. I paid about $40 for MGS3 Subsistence when it came out. I paid like $39.99 for MGS3D on Nintendo 3DS.

Also keep in mind that $50 USD in 2004 would be about $83.54 USD based on the quick Google search I did.

So $69.99 for this will be worth every penny. Great visuals, better animations, faster loading, crouch walking, over the shoulder aiming, camo shortcuts, 60 fps, etc.

Why is it always the ones who pre-order an unlimited virtual code months and months in advance who act like this?

As far OPs concerned, the fact he feels some overwhelming feeling to explain the modern AAA pricing like he has some soap box is hilarious and embarrassing. And ironic, since they didn't preorder it.
I did. I bought it via Fanatical for the standard edition. Gonna buy the physical edition for PS5.
you pre-ordered the game as 25% discount, kind of contradicting to come here and preach about the full price being so insanely good for what it is. Don't ya think?

You're the one getting heated and emotional here, not me. Stop projecting this "jealously" narrative and stop being insecure. All i pointed out was how you're acting with your statement, and now look at you. LOL.

Well you are the one angry about how people spend their own money, If you can't afford it you can wait for a sale. :MGS2_Otadot1:

>Pre-orders game

>Becomes insecure and emotional, even needs to mention "muh new job"
>REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE's and projects to cope

Damn, dude, if i had known you're this way i wouldn't of even replied. This is pointless. LOL.

I mean WOW in the long run cost more than 80$, XCOM2 WOTC costed 80$ If you bought Base + the DLC (but you could get +1000 hours with mods, same can happen with MGS DELTA since It's a PC game).

No one care If MGS DELTA sold well for 80$ so futur games would copy that, gacha games and "micro"-transactions earned a lot more cash but sure complain about a 80$ game with only DLC cosmetics while some games sell you the game in pieces for more than 100$ (DISGAEA 7 for exemple, the series like to sell characters and some event as paid DLC).

So In the end If you can't afford the game then wait for a sale, It won't go away, I'll think about you while playing it 2 day before release If that make you feel better. :3

Not really. Just not understanding the virtual rat race you're pretending to be in and the condescending attitude over spending money on something that isn't going anywhere

Imagine being jealous about how I spend my own money :3 , If you want to know how I got money to spend I have a pretty good job so 90$ Is nothing for me especialy when so far only this and MGS VOL2 interest me. You have like 6 month to get a job and save some money, If you can run the game you can pay for it. :MGS2_Otadot1:
your point literally makes no sense even tho blizzard sucks wow is a mmo with huge replayability metal gear doesn't have that you're comparing a game that it's meant to be played once or twice with ones that are supposed to keep you playing for along time lol

No. I would still buy it at full price but I happened to find a good deal and took it. It would be stupid of me to ignore the 25% discount just because.

It's hypocritical of you guys coming here complaining about the price when sites like GMG and Fanatical have it at 25% off right now.

80 Euro's for a remake is ridiculous, they didn't have to write the story, they didn't have to do any mo-cap, they didn't have to record any voice lines, it's a visual upgrade and game play improvement only, that being said, if the higher price point means there won't be micro transactions or a season pass I'm all for it.

You should pay full price for this "amazing" game if you loved this game so much.

Bit of a cop out buying the game for 25% off when you lecture others for not buying this "amazing" game for £70.

It's not about whether someone can afford it or not, it never is and I don't understand why people always jump to that argument. That is such a petty, ignorant and short sighted conclusion.

Since you don't understand I'll explain: Make game, people give money for game, money good, no money = no more game. :MGS2_Raiden:

How far would they have to push prices before you would actually question it? These arbitrary 10 dollar increases probably are not based on anything but simply pushing the limits of consumers. At this rate it would not surprise me if the next increase is £15/$15 or more just because so few people resist.

Obligatory mention of £ and $ not being worth the same yet games are being priced at £70/$70 regardless and of course how games prices have increased multiple times over the gens despite the narrative to the contrary.

Its 80 euro for some reason where I am despite the Euro being worth more than the dollar so completely unfair. Second MGS3 was an original game and came with a DVD and Box (which significantly upping to produce each unit). ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ argument.

Im willing to bet money you've never opened UE5s editor.

It is easy though isn’t it. Assets on demand that are pretty much plug and play anyone can start a project in this engine even the less experienced, Fox engine ♥♥♥♥♥ on unreal and I just think any company using unreal is lazy, look at stalker 2 for example, waited 15+ years and the game is a trash bug fest. MGS D is just a reskin using a lazy engine at £70. Konami can swivel they have ruined MGS in the past and they won’t ever be able to get that respect back. MGS Delta will only add to their downfall when people finish the game in 13 hours, back to scammy casino games chaps 👋
