Yeah why people bought death stranding when they could have gotten 6 remastered Tomb Raider game.
Indeed, a lot of people think making a video game is easy.
As far OPs concerned, the fact he feels some overwhelming feeling to explain the modern AAA pricing like he has some soap box is hilarious and embarrassing. And ironic, since they didn't preorder it.
Someone is jealous I see.
I mean WOW in the long run cost more than 80$, XCOM2 WOTC costed 80$ If you bought Base + the DLC (but you could get +1000 hours with mods, same can happen with MGS DELTA since It's a PC game).
No one care If MGS DELTA sold well for 80$ so futur games would copy that, gacha games and "micro"-transactions earned a lot more cash but sure complain about a 80$ game with only DLC cosmetics while some games sell you the game in pieces for more than 100$ (DISGAEA 7 for exemple, the series like to sell characters and some event as paid DLC).
So In the end If you can't afford the game then wait for a sale, It won't go away, I'll think about you while playing it 2 day before release If that make you feel better. :3
Imagine being jealous about how I spend my own money :3 , If you want to know how I got money to spend I have a pretty good job so 90$ Is nothing for me especialy when so far only this and MGS VOL2 interest me. You have like 6 month to get a job and save some money, If you can run the game you can pay for it.
