So far:

Should be able to know at least 1 month before release.

Supposedly supposed to drop February 27th.

Some months after MGS DELTA MGS collection VOL2 will come.

VOL2 is supposed to have MGS5 GZ & TPP, MGS 4, MGS: PW. For people that already own MGS5 it's tricky because on console It may be kinda hard to link it to the collection, talk is If you own it on console you'll just get a discount but no idea how it's planned (it won't release that soon after all), on PC Konami got some options but none confirmed so far.

MGO in MGS DELTA & a revival of MGO3 with VOL 2 ? We all know MGS DELTA is ready and need the Q&A team to give it a pass, a rumor is going around that it would be cool to either have an MGO3 update (with some cosmetics stuff to make cash) or MGO4 but in VOL2 there is MGS:PW that they would like to have co-op and online function yet without proper feedback Konami can try things but is not so sure on what to do, while It's not impossible we all know that Konami said the futur of MGS remakes depend on MGS DELTA but the little clashback about VOL1 well.... The collection sold fairly well but Konami mostly wanted to just make the games playable on newer generation not work on them to add other stuff especialy since we do get bonus content (the books are great).

Do note that Konami so far never declared a release date but If nothing bad happen MGS DELTA may drop soon, especialy If they can manage to make something ready before the release (day 1 patch ? Be sure that MGO doesn't lunch 3 month after release like with MGS5 on PC ? No info on that).

Some people could pre-order the game last year but not here on steam, so if this month we can pre-order we know that it will drop next month, IF a huge game should drop at the same time Konami may decide to delay the release hence why nothing is incraved in stone yet and we aren't talking about just a collection, VOL2 shouldn't have such amount of pressure especialy when the fate of the franchise depend on how well MGS DELTA does.

If MGS delta flop we do know that the franchise will either remain dormant videogame wise (they'll still sell merch) or they'll go the mobile route like with Contra apparently (a Contra fan may tell us more about it, and apparently there is a Double Dragon game on it's way ?).
