Will it use Fox Engine?
Fox Engine is a very well optimized engine that was barely used by games, MGSV made use of it and it runs fantastically on all devices. It'd be a shame to not use it again.

I highly doubt it. They may use Unreal Engine 4/5 like most companies do to the simplicity of the engine.

Ingame renders look like UE5 and nothing like Fox Engine.

I'm hoping that it's an improved FE

Given that Konami officially moved on from the Fox Engine with their PES series makes me highly doubt it, but I'll still hope for it to be FE, which is a beautiful engine.

No, it's either their own engine or unity, this doesn't look like UE 4/5

PES used Fox Engine? Now i have half a mind to make MGS based football teams lol

I'm pretty sure they have deleted every trace of the Fox Engine lol

Konami moved to Unreal with the eFootball and it was a catastrophic choice that they still haven't got to grips with and that's without utilising most of the core features. I think MGS Delta will be on the established Fox Engine which is still good enough. A game like this doesn't require flamboyant effects and features as it's a basic remake of an older title and the Fox Engine should be more than enough.

Highly doubt it is Unity. It is a rare pick from AAA studios, especially the size of Konami, plus never really seen a japanese studio use Unity. Since most of it is rendered and the Quixel system is being used more and more, it could well be the Unreal Engine. They might have gotten the right to use the same engine used for Death Stranding although that might be harder to believe.
