However Master Collection was also confirmed to release on "latest platforms".
But it'd be very stupid if they release that on other platforms after Delta, instead of getting new fans joining the series with MGS1 that's hardly accessible nowadays unless you're a PlayStation owner.
Really hope they don't though.
MGS Delta being on PC only confirms this theory.
Doesn't confirm anything. If they're using PlayStation emulators for the collection and/or Sony is paying for exclusivity, it may be financially beneficial to remain exclusive.
So far the messaging has been extremely vague but we only know it's coming to PS5.

I got a chance to play MGS 1 and 2 on PC back when they were on GoG, but an actual supported PC port of 2 would be insanely cool.
Yes, but that could be PS4/5. Again, if they're using like a PS3 and PS1 emulator as a basis for the games, then sticking to Playstation may be the way to go.
I deeply hope that's not the case, all I'm saying is that people are acting like PC is confirmed yet they've been extremely clear about the release systems for Delta yet haven't clarified for the Master Collection, which to me seems odd if it's coming to platforms outside of Playstation.
And I assume Konami might be still considering a Switch port.
