Mods themselves are being censored by sites like nexus. They've banned the Ashley skirt mods for RE4 remake for example.

What's the reason they're banning them for? I'm sure whatever it is it probably has something to do with Capcom about 3 years ago making a public statement begging people not to lewd/nude their characters.

My best guess would be that the mods used Capcom assets and the mod authors might've somehow been making money from them since that's the only real way they'd be able to get the mods banned.

If it's something like requesting they don't do nude mods, they can request that all they like but they can't actually force people not to make them or get them banned.

Suppose they do cover her up. Is that necessarily censorship? They change character designs for remakes all the time. Especially when it comes to clothing.

Like lots of the cast of FF7 Remake. Tifa with her thigh-length socks, Barrett with his sunglasses, President Shinra with his purple suit, or Biggs' longer sleeves and shorter pants.

Maybe this is just confirmation bias from people who never stop thinking about the THEY THEM THOSE evil shadow conspiracy people trying to censor the world as a stepping stone to enslaving humanity or whatever.
