Servers dead?

Each time i open the game it says something about no connection to master servers, did they shut down this game or is it me?

Can we still host a server and play on LAN? It seems to crash as soon as I try to host. I don't want to spend forever troubleshooting it if it isn't even possible.

I tried hosting one but of course nobody will ever join... I don't think i can find people to even try. Too bad because it looked like an interesting game when we can create our own class and appearence.

I tried uploading a skin about a week ago and nothing happened. So i guess we can't even upload skins or weapons either wich was the thing that separated this game from other minecraft looking shooters

I was able to host a LAN game, so I suppose one could use Himachi or something to play with friends that way. I've not tried it.

Plus, it seems like we can't host a dedicated GunCraftServer.exe server because it requires a username/password for the masters just to host, which makes no sense.

Maybe the master servers will be back someday. It would be nice if Exato would open source their game since they seem to have abandoned it.
