Bloated? For that to matter you would need to have an insanely outdated PC.
First prototype was made using Godot. But if you're planning to make a game with a lot of 2d sprites, Unity is the way to go.
I don't know about Unity. Prodeus is arguably the best Unity game I've ever played.
I believe Godod will be one of the best in the future. But for now, if we want to ship the game in 25 we need to stick with Unity.
Exactly. Unity still has an advantage over Godot when it comes to developing FPS game with 2d animation.
