Just a quick question on how this is used. The description doesn't help me enough.

I'm not using this skill, but looking into some notes I have here it should work like this:
- Apprentice: increases Intelligence, lasts a certain time;
- Disciple: adds to all magical skills as well, lasts a bit longer;
- Journeyman: increases Magic Resistance as well, lasts yet longer;
- Master: increases spell penetration as well, lasts even longer.

Hmm, if it's true, I should have probably invested more into it with my priest...
