Widescreen Solution
Hi! I have a 16:10 Samsung Monitor, which aspect ratio is not supported at the time, and with the 4:3 and the 16:9 aspect ratio the screen was always cut off on the right side. You could not read the whole text in the journal for example.

So I tried to set a fix aspect ratio for the game in the nvidia control panel.

In the menu were you can set the screensize and position, you need to choose the first option (aspect ratio), then scaling by “GPU” and right under that you can deactivate the scalemode from the game.

After that start the game, choose the 16:9 screenmode and the 720p Resolution and you should have a full picture.

is it possible to fit the screen with 2160p ?

you can also use the launchoption > -full -w xxxx -h xxxx for it
works for me. ( -full -w 1920 -h 1200 )
don`t know if it affects gunaimg atm.

you can play in windows (alt+enter), that's what I do, performance isn't best though..
I did it but game still shows black bars. I have the same resolution.
They should standardize the terminology in resolution types, too. Gamers playing on TV screens think in terms of "p", but your typical 16:9 PC gamer is thinking "1920x1080", not "1080p".
Well, it worked for me after I chose "full screen" setting in nvidia panel.

I find it a little funny how the thread title is "Widescreen solution", yet the thread is about 16:10 which is less widescreen than 16:9 (which is already implemented partially)

I tried this method and it doesn't seem to change anything, can anyone else confirm this works? Because its still running at 1080p in game.
