Home Away from Home won't trigger?

I'm on Endgame now, and not once did I get the opportunity to set up a new home base. Just curious if you guys know how to trigger the mission, or if you're aware it's a bug. Thanks!

I am unsure. There is a quest when you are at the church when the chick's gay brother (sorry, forgot thier names, i use the descriptions only so you know who im talking about) talks about moving to a larger house. If you got him killed before he did that, maybe it won't trigger. I moved three times.

Aye, you need the brother for that. If you didn't rescue him, or got him killed, that's bad.

I rescued him alright, but the quest never did pop up for me. He just lazily hung about the Church the whole damn time, couldn't bring him on a single mission.

I believe in my shortish time in game that ordinary houses can be outposts, but houses with barbed walls and some factories can be new base. when in new base press down on dpad(radio) then should tell how many people and building resources you need to occupy- i think!

I had that problem but not to endgame someone told me to exit game and go back into it and within 15 minutes it trggered, but you seem to have gone a lot further without it happening

I tried going into a bunch of potential home bases and pressing alt (I'm using keyboard controls - my wireless 360 adapter doesn't turn on any more...cheap piece of crap) and it doesn't do anything, so I googled the issue. Seems I need to go through this quest, but it just won't go through. I hope it does for my next playthrough. :/

It probably will be ok next time if it does not trigger save and exit then reload, to be extra careful go get him straight away, and I think it triggers not to long after the First Wilkerson Mission.

I am on my 4th or 5th playthrough, " had to re-start last night because of the resource bug " I am Currently at the Snyder truck Warehouse and have 26 survivers Including Allen and the Paster !, I was lucky to find a Pharmacist early on, and had heaps of supplies ready for when the Plague shows up in the game, and imediately moved to Snyder truck warehouse and built a Library and Medical Lab, as quickly as possible, and no one has been sick so far, I am currently up to getting the free car from the Spanish? Guy, the only other handy Surviver i can think of, that I have not got is a Mechanic.
