Breakdown blaze of glory help!

How to perform blaze of glory in breakdown? my survivor always get torn apart but no BOOM! even thou they say something before they get torn apart
with the grenade equiped in quick inventory
i did the don't press anything = torn apart no boom
i did the press "space bar" when nearing death = torn apart no boom
i did the press "C" when nearing death = torn apart no boom
please help. TIA!

I'm not sure if its required but I did it just in case. I had the grenade equiped and ready and when I was on the ground getting ready to be torn apart I started pushing "f" (use key) and just for good measure I think I also spammed fire (LMB) and a few other keys lol.

Is that a skill? If so, you should be able to read that skill in the journal ,and it will tell you what to press.

Have your grenade selected as an item, then when your on the floor in the process of dying (fetal position)... make grenade go boom... simple.

yep, as above...have the nade selected ready to use with the "f" key. As your character is getting munched on the floor, I spammed the "f" key. You'll see the animation change and he goes on his side and drops the nade. On a sidenote, I tried it with a firebomb(molotov), and pressed "f", which then burned all the normal zeds around me allowing me to run off again.

Dude that is awesome I never thought of that! That could be a great save your butt trick for your really important characters. I gotta go try that!

did you get the achievement even thou you run off and did not die? i did not know you can survive that.

No not really...
its pulling the pin on a nade and holding it out to the swarm of zombies eating your flesh as you are pinned to the ground dying.... taking as many as you can with you.

hey m8, nah didnt get the achievement as it was too early so still had a little energy though. Have also tried it with normal zeds + a feral. It didn't kill the feral. I think for the achievement it has to be a nade, but was trying with firebombs first as I had lots in the locker but only 2 nades.

confirmed! "F" key to use in blaze of glory. no pun intended. didn't survive thou. thanks for the help!

I tried pressing F with a frag grenade, but unfortunately the explosion just saved me.

Next time I selected a molotov, selected it with my mousewheel and then I did nothing at all and then my survivor did it himself. So try to select the molotov/grenade, run to a group of zombies and just release your controls.

Thanks for this sugar... I've had a heck of a time getting a nade and doing this, but I started with a wilkerson and he had fire. Used the Wilkerson firebomb as a death move and it worked!
