Breakdown: How many survivors on RV?

Hi all,

Quick question. I am actually playing on the XBox version (UndeadLabs forums are down at the moment).
Just about to finish Level 1 (have been collecting all the heroes) and I am currently loading the RV.
Now what I have found by searching is most people tend to be saying you can take 6 survivors plus Lily on the RV. I seem to be only able to select 5 other survivors from the character screen (so 5 plus Lily). Does this sound right?
Or once you have selected the 5 plus Lily and go to move on, does it include the CURRENT character you are controlling (so it would be 6 plus Lily)?

Lily + character under control + 5 others " it should tell you when you tell lily its time to move ".

There website was hacked just after Breakdown Release.

I only got one character with Lily because I wasn't carefull. I triggered the speech event she does, and pressed ESC, making it for some reason go into dark and letting me spawn like I had just loaded into the game again. I didn't think much of it and pressed the RV option again. Turned out this was the moment where the RV is parked next to your home. From here you must select 5 others! Don't do the same mistake I did.

When I next boot it up I should have finished my last research item. Then I can move on.
The only hero I'll be missing from the first tier is the 'killing the sick person' one.
No-one got sick :(

You might be able to blow up a badly wounded surviver that is helping you, by throwing a grenade or Molotov at them while the zombies are attacking ?

I think I have read that they need to be sick with the Black Fever, and then you have to do a 'Mercy Shot' mission.

I'm not too concerned about it at the moment as I'm sure at higher difficulty levels I will get the opportunity, as I'm sure someone will get sick!

they can also be gravely injured to get the mission

Just a note too, before you board the RV,go through all the characters you are not taking and take all the guns you want to keep and stick them in the backpacks of the people you are taking, I just realised one of the Cool Rifles "SMG : MPS 90B" i found is gone " probably more that I forgot about as well ".
If they havent got a gun they take them really quickly, so its best to put your favourite guns in the backpacks.

Holy heavens...I'm getting into Level 5 Breakdown, and ALL along, I thought you can [only] take Lily + character being controlled!!! Just like Lexerdraft in his comment!

Why the hell does the game not tell you that you're supposed to tell people to get the RV, not just pick whom you want?!

I left so many useful talents behind, and kept wondering what the use is for all those heroes if I can only pick one in the end!

Man, Undead Labs has got a lot to sort out in this game, not just bugs, but making certain things (like this) more user-friendly and clear for all players.

Man, Undead Labs has got a lot to sort out in this game, not just bugs, but making certain things (like this) more user-friendly and clear for all players.

The game has almost no tutorial, and many things that are fairly important concepts are not addressed at all. It seems intentionally left up to players to figure out for yourself. I was on my second playthrough before I really grasped the concept that there is a difference between Rucksack resources, and the individual resources you pick up from breaking them open.

I could have sworn it says 'load up the people you want' or Lily told me to grab who I want to take with me because I assumed before I started that only I carried over to the next mission but the game notified me otherwise.

I thought i could take 10 ='( but now only 6 =/ I worked up 4 extra Cardios to 7 for nothing ='( ♥♥♥♥ a duck

Normal way : You can take 6 survivor, 2 auto (survivor you control+ lily) and other 4 you must select from character menu.

Glitch way : If you not satisfied with 6, you can take as many as you want. After you pick the main 4 using let say survivor A, switch to character you want to tag along say Survivor B, bring that character to nearby outpost/building. Switch back to survivor A, go to Character menu and select survivor B, choose option Check In (E), then you will get survivor B location, go there and talk to him/her, and choose move to RV.

You can re-do above step as many as you want. I always bring 10-12 survivor so i can move to STW in next level.

actually you can take lilly + 6 with you...

or you can load up your peeps, and then send some away from home. Do a check in, go to the location and one of the options is : Go to RV!
You can in theory take as many as you want.
Lily did say some can ride on the roof.. :D
Anyway, I have tested it up to 16 people... I have heard you can glitch out with to many tho'
