CARDIO TRICK - HOW TO LEVEL UP EASY AND SECURE
This is a spoiler, don't read if you don't want one, and don't complain if you read it and you don't like it.

So, for those who like to make a fast CARDIO level up, without putting yourself in danger outside your home, just put your character in a corner and just run the hell out of it! One level normaly takes around 7 times running out 90% of your Stamina (7x7=49 times per character, more or less!). You have to run, not just sprint, it means to press the SHIFT button :D.

I did this before I start any other mission with any other character and I have all my characters always on TOP CARDIO LEVEL before I begin to play the game. It takes some time tho, but it works. A 7th level CARDIO will just boost your gamplay as a jet engine, you can fight dozens of zombies without getting exhausted, and you can run a lot if you find yourself in a "problematic" situation.

You can speed up the process if you have some snacks. Just eat one when your stamina begins to blink, like this you can keep running as long as you have snacks and you will not get exhausted.

Yeah, me to, but everywhere is not safe, and you can find yourself dead. And also, this way you dont have to use both hands as the character does not move really, he just runs into the corner and when he gets tired there is no horde around to take your last breath. It is just a secure, easy way to do it, if you need it.

Ahh he's saying you can exploit it.. I don't like exploiting games..
I hope they patch what you are doing to level up cardio.
Basically it's like you can hold down your key, stick your guy in a corner and go watch a movie. Come back later and bam, max cardio level.. Cheese factor 10..
I don't see the point in cheating myself..
The fun you have being on edge, with minimal stamina at the start of the game, is part of the fun imo.

Hey Bishop .. so in real life you don't go to the gym to train .. you go out on the street and call black guys the N Word then run away .. cause thats legit?

I think exercising in the safety of the base is a great idea .. lol

did this trick with Final fantasy... lol hold down a few buttons and analog stick... max lvl character in the end of the day.

ya in fable i did the same concept when my character got fat i just taped the joystick to the left and watched him run i circles while i made a sandwich and did sometthng else.also prisoners do this alot just running on the perimeter and essientially just kept moving to stay in shape.

I found this because I had a great problem with stamina, I wasn't able even to scout thanks to all my tired characters. I had to do something to get stamina at least to survive the situation. At first I was runing around the safehouse in cyrcles :D I had to do it. Everyone had a penaltie, unable even to walk normaly, can't speak about running from zombies, which made me lose 2 characters :(. Just nobody can stop you if you wish to run in the Gym, its the same, even maybe they can add a Gym to the available constructions you can build. lol

at lvl 3 you cannot run around like a fool... if you loose your car in a dumb crash.. maaaan its ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up cuz they keep spawning and spawning... i always loose a companion cuz i am busy surviving myself... sucks to be my companion :3

Exactly, I lost 2 characters man, maybe you can call it "virtual destiny", but if I hadn't train at my "HomeGym" lol , probably I was going to lose all my characters, one by one, and lose the game, :(.

Nah I'm with Datapax ..on this one, that little cheat, gym session, who cares.

That 7th level Cardio is worth taking the time out at the ranger station parking bay to level up the starting charactor and then Maya next (later other trusting -friend playa-s at home base-s)

...BUT -sometimes the sand box creates a very bad night out ....SO -when you go to train Maya on the first night and before taking ED into the ranger station to be bitten by the old man Ritter.| a hole.

.. anyways that first night ur training Cardio for Maya, if ur attacked by three grouped Z'ds that attack in packs of three and in the dozens of packs ...sheesh that little hell of a night,

nah F%&K That.

then restart (I always do it ain't worth it) ....coz that night is freaken hard in the sand box and when you reach the church it's carried on into the first town and it's hard to play against lots of these Cadio low seeking Zeds ...dam. ..and anyways.

you can load a game or profile start and they are different each time but have some routine to the sandbox ...one profile ..that is common in routine ...allows you to train both Maya and the starting guy and to level 7 Cardio.

For the starting guy before first entering the Ranger station - for the first time. stay away from the ranger station when training cardio.

... AND Maya, only after you rescue her but before entering the ranger station getting ED bitten by Ritter. |a hole.

.....and you can train the starting guy and Maya to level 7 Cardio and before leaving for the church

head for the church "IN ESCAPE MT TANNER" and after ED is bitten.

....later at any base with any friend u can train them where possible or where needed based on skills mainly rather then saturation training... but not in-doors, and u gotta shift-sprint run turning blue to yellow used stamina on Cardio.

...this is mandatory .....so get them close to level 4 or 5 Cardio or they won't survive it's that simple.
