Seriously though, just search, search and search some more!
Also, get a Library and a survivor with the "Research" skill. That doubles Wits XP gain. ;)
Dim Bulb
Drunk
Absent-Minded
Halves the amount of XP you gain from a search. So no Librabry plus a Drunk follower searching will take the rest of your life to level up. :S
You might be right. I think it's the "Total Lush" trait that causes Wits to improve slowly. I may have confused being a drunk with being an alcoholic ingame.
I think the "Drunk" trait makes them harder to get along with in Home base? It's hard to tell, unless it's specifically written in brackets from the Bio page.
I got libarary + researcher + plus none stupid survivor (diane) and I probably did 100 searches by now and no where near max yet.
A "Let's Play" I'm currently watching has the guy convinced that doing fast searches is what causes him to get more XP, but I have no way to verify that. Mostly because I'm not suicidal enough to try!
