Breakdown - Stash full
Hello to everyone,

I am currently playing Breakdown and i dit it to LVL5.
But now my stash is full of guns, rifles, rocketlaunchers and melee weapons, no free space in it any more.
During the 4 previous playthroughs i used to put weapons and other stuff in the stash to gain influence.
Unfortunately now on lvl5 i can't earn influence that way and my low influence lvl even prevents me from taking stuff out of the stash...

So i only can give you the advice to not fill up the Stash with Rifles and Melee weapons on early levels, because you will loose the possibility to do it at higher levels when you need it most.

I would also recommend you to break up any food, ammo and medicine Rucksacks as you will (probably) get more influence stashing the items that result than taking the Rucksack to base.
and it takes less space in the Stash than weapons, for example i have 250+ food rations, but they only take 1 slot, 1 pistol and 1 revolver = 2 slots,
So in my opinion you can easily stash lots of smaller parts (ammo, medicine, food) and till now I didn't have a problem keeping the food, ammo, medicine level of the community high enough to survive.
Unfortunately for materials it's another story.Everything you want to build you need materials, materials, materials... I think 90% of your needs are material.
I didn't check it out precisely, but i think you can easily survive a day in a medium 5-10 community with 2 Rucksacks of food, medicine and ammo (if you don't use guns ammo is just for traps), but you need much more rucksacks of material for building up & daily use. I need 17 materials a day when i am at the base containig 11 people & all outposts, my food supply is always beyond maximum.
I think i will start over the Breakdown from lvl 1 as on lvl 5 its really harrd to keep the influence level high enough to even build up a camp.

I heard that pistols are not all that worthwhile to stash. I have a crapload. I am barely on lvl 2 (taking my time) as I heard it helps hoarding food and medicine for later lvls are scavenging is much difficult.

Hey Conal,

The Main problem on later levels is that you dont get the influence to get the food and other stuff out of the stash.
On lvl5 you start with 0 influence, so you have to do some tasks before you even can establish the first Outpost (50 Influence)
As its more difficult to find scavening materials on that level you ned to stash some weapons to improve you Influence, dont forget that each upgrade on facility also costs influence.

Hey thank you for the heads up, never knew that was an issue.

I think you start of each level with 0 influence if I'm not mistaken. I remember getting into lvl 2 with no influence so I couldn't use Santos Car perk (I got spawned way out by the mountains close to blown up bridge). Had to walk quite a distance to track a car. Also noticed you can't take stuff off the locker. So I swore next time I'd have everyone that's going pack all the snacks and meds they'd need just in case for the next lvl.

@conal,

I dont know which one of the characters in the game survives to next level, i started it with 1 person from the lower level, think it was the strongest one, but not sure...

You get to bring 6 people when you start the next level. You just have to tell them to get in the RV before you leave. Just make sure they all pack food and meds and weapons as when you start the next level you have no influence (hence you cant get anything out of the locker at the start).

You get to bring 6 people when you start the next level. Y).

You can bring more than 6. After picking the 6 you want to go, look for any survivors out on a mission, "check in" on them, visit that location, speak with them and it will give the option to send them to the RV. If you wait till they all do a mission, you could send every single survivor you have. II have seen 12 survivors on the RV.

Hello to everyone,
~~

Ran into a similar problem not too long ago. I was told that I could take my extra weapons to friendly enlcaves and dump them there. What this does is just costs you 3/4 of influence to "delete" an item. Take notice that enclaves item boxes have very small slot limit, so you might need to travel from enclave to enclave to clean up your own box.

I'm at level 6 right now, and doing this was mandatory for early game influence and item box space management.

Hey cool,

I thought restarting on higher level wouls start the game over with only one caracter.
when i took the RV to leave there was always only 1 person to restart...
It will be much more easier to start on higher lvl with 6+ fully equipped people which already maxed out their abilities.

i cant put in meele weapons, ranged weapons, backpacks...
is this really because my stash full, or its a bug?

Necro!! And yes, your locker does have a space limit. Get rid of junk to make room for better weapons.

Your supply locker is probably filled with those 2x4s or other 'junk' melee weapons and maybe 'distraction' consumables, if you have no need for those.
