I am in the warehouse and wondering where do I park my car to repair them?

There should be a few parking spots. Open your facilities menu and you'll see where the spots are relative to the inside of the base.

Usually they're marked by parking lines, or at least parking signs (small rectangular signs somewhere along the perimeter).

That, and I heard that they patched the Warehouse so that it's only a Workshop, not a Machine Shop (so it'd only repair minor body damage and not engines).

Can you upgrade it? Seems pointless if you can't.

if you have cleaned up the workshop inside, you will see there are 4 spots marked with the parking signs outside the fence. park there. they are the same spots that auto unload the rucks from the trunks of the cars. Dont forget, I believe you have to have a Handy with tools to actually work on the cars though.

I saw that patch supposedly also. But I have updated my game everytime, and my workshop is still a machine shop in the warehouse.

You don't need one to work on the cars, but you do need them to use the Power Tools.

I don't think you can. It's a built-in facility so it's locked to its current upgrade tier.

I guess it's to make it even since the Fairgrounds can't upgrade their Watchtower, so now you have to choose between having free ammo from the Shooting Platform in the Warehouse, or the ability to repair vehicles at the Fairgrounds.

I know you need the tools expert for the upgrade to machine shop. But I usually have one around so I have not paid attention to if you need them for the actual engine work still for the cars. I do know that at Snyders I never have not had my cars fixed. :D

How do you know what they do/find these specialists?

When you meet people if you push the CAP LOCK key while in their home it will show you a trait above their head. Or a quirk they have. For example it might say, Foreman, which lets you know they were good with tools. Or Soldier, so they usually have a gun skill or leadership. Once you have a person, look at their page in the journal to see what all skills they have. If they suck and you dont need a body taking up resources, send em out to the shed. I keep my group at 16 right now in BD.

You check their character sheet with Tab. It'll tell you if they're an Expert in something (medicine, tools, etc).

I've always been able to upgrade straight to machine shop with only Materials, no need for Tools Expert. Again, you only need Tools Expert if you want the upgraded building rate.

Ha, I ve never noticed. In all my hours of play. I just read the thing that says needs Tools Expert. But again, I as far as I recall always had one. But then again, apart from the church, my cars have always been fixed up so I never really pondered it :D

You cant upgrade the warehouse workshop base module. Its locked to the basic version by default. Its why the Fairgrounds base is more valuable. The warehouse parking spots cant fully repair vehicles just wheel and body damage. The machine shop is required to actually repair vehicle health. That being said the parking spots are outside the fence. Look for the small white "P" signs near the gates. They signify parking spots.

I dunno what you guys are talking about.

The Warehouse has a built in machine shop. It repairs all damage to vehicles, providing you have the requisite expert able to work on them. MACHINE SHOP. It repairs every single one of my cars every single day, and always has. You do need the Tools expert there, however.

You also need to have them parked there "overnight." Which means that every 'in game" morning, your stuff should be fixed up, providing they're in the parking spots, which it looks like they are, Pickle.

Hey is vehicle repair possible at the church? I upgraded my bench to where its supposed to do that, but when I parked my damaged pickup in the Pastors parking spot it doesnt seem to work :/

EDIT: Ahh nvm I figured it out. Man Im missing a lot of things to be able to repair cars. Ill just have to drive more carefully until then.
