Is Breakdown more fun than Lifeline?
Just finished Lifeline. Honestly, not that fun. Missions are just about getting people back and out of there. And then fighting back against sieges.

I hate how limited ones options are against sieges. Maybe I built the wrong things in my base. Why can't I put people on those outposts within my base? And it's just retarded how easy it is for zeds to climbs over the fences.

I like the premise of State of Decay, but the execution lacks a lot.

Is Breakdown better? Does it allow you to do more? And is Lifeline just more limited?

Breakdown is like original SoD without story/ Just a survival sandbox, with increasing difficulty from level to level. Best part of whole SoD for me.

State of Decay in general is limited. Frankly the only reason it's worth owning is because it's (as far as I know) one of a kind, but even then it does most of the things that make it unique so poorly that it's only barely worth considering at all. I don't have Lifeline so I don't know from experience, but I'm pretty sure that most of the issues (mainly not being able to assign people, and zombies climbing fences) are all still present in Breakdown.

Yeah, the promise of a better game is definitely there. That's why I am hoping they do a SoD2 with all the feedback they got from SoD.

Read some of the reviews for Breakdown, will definitely check it out.

Oh they are going to do an SoD2, but it's going to be an MMO with (I suspect, but maybe I'm just being cynical) absolutely no feedback taken into consideration (mostly because it's an MMO and that's taking it as far in the wrong direction as they possibly can).

This is why I like it more than Vanilla.

This is all speculation. There is nothing confirmed for a State of Decay 2, or MMO for that matter. State of Decay 2 may never happen, and I believe Microsoft may be why...as they were the publisher for the first one.

It's really not specualtion though. Way back when this game was actually supported they explicitly said that that was their next project.
