Unlimited Ammo, & God Mode.
(NOT FOR YEAR ONE edition)

God Mode

Those of you having problems getting System.cfg file god mode to work in breakdown--> Find and download SoDET.exe and use it to unpack the BeltwayC.pak, BeltwayU.pak, and gamedata.pak files.

They should be moved to a folder on your desktop called Pak Extraction.
Put the folders into the Game directory folder:::?:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\State of Decay\Game

Then find and download SODBMDEdit.1.zip. Unzip it. Use it to edit the file-->?:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\State of Decay\Game\libs\class3.1\actorconstants.win.bmd

Under DamageScaling change all the scale values at the end to 0.

Then scroll down the damagevalues tab til you see the lines that say something like Damage_ToPlayer_Juggernaut etc etc. and Damage_ToPlayer_Feral.
Change the min/max values at the begining of all those lines to 0.
Then save the file overwriting the old one.
Now you have god mode in Breakdown.

If you wish edit the same file the same way under the class3, and class3.2 folders to have god mode in lifeline and normal state of decay.
You can also scroll down to falling damage and set those min/max values to 0 and not get hurt when you fall from any hieght.

This is for the older version of the game and not Year One. I dont own Year One and have no idea if it can be modded useing the same tools.
Modify the game at your own risk.

(Notes:::Editing the .xml files that are with the .win.bmd files will not do anything. The tool xml2bmd.exe is used to drag .xml files onto it to create the .win.bmd files. This is how you can add lines of data to the win.bmd files. SODBMDEdit should only be used to edit existing data. Trying to add data useing the options in the tool never ended well for me.)

Some of the weapon data that can be edited like damage, sound radius, clipsize, and bullet chamber for SOD and breakdown is located at -->?:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\State of Decay\Game\scripts\entities\items\xml\weapons

Lifeline weapon data should be stored here-->?:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\State of Decay\Game\scripts\class3_2\entities\items\xml

Those are all xml files and can be edited useing notepad++.

Unlimited Ammo

To make guns not use ammo set clipesize to -1 and bullet chamber to 0.

Durability data for weapons is stored under ::

SOD
?:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\State of Decay\Game\libs\class3\items\items.win.bmd

Breakdown
?:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\State of Decay\Game\libs\class3.1\items\items.win.bmd

Lifeline
?:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\State of Decay\Game\libs\class3.2\items\items.win.bmd

Unlimited Durability

To have basicly unlimited durability in your weapons change the min/max settings to 60000. But its best to ignore the durability_critical settings right above them.

For those who have problems with playing it the right way while others are cheating and dont think its fair for leaderboards/achievements which do not give any rewards to the player other than unlocking hero's on breakdown, and are there for kinda pointless, I only have this to say.."Go Play It On Xbox!"

Every game I own I play it once through without cheating, then I get bored. To get more gameplay in games that once bored me to death, modding and cheating is a good way to change things up and have a new experiance with an older game.
