Can't select skill specialisation

Hey there,
somehow the selection (press Q, then hold Q) of a specialisation after reaching lvl 4 in a skill does not work for me. Holding Q after the selection just causes the button to flash but it won't lock in.

Starting a new game and trying it with different characters hasn't worked either.

Does someone know an answer to this?

Yes, thanks. Didn't mention I have used the search option myself and haven't found anything useful there.

I have found the right menu, I have pressed the right button and I had the right level (skill is maxed out) to do so. But still, it won't work.

I would be interested to know if there's a solution to this, as I have the exact same issue myself.

Are you using clock from nexus mods.
If so, change from "pause" to "slowmotion" and it should work.

To open clock options press B, than hover over "slowmotion" and press space.

I noticed that happened to me when i had QJMS mod and Brent's armory both running, Disabled brent's and it worked (QJMS let's you have two especializations, melee and firearm)

Yes! That's it. The only mod I have installed was the "Masterclock" mod. Pressing "Pause" to unpause the game while in the skill menu does the trick.

Happened to me too btw. and that clock is so good that it should be part of the main game.
