HDRBrightness=1000.000000
Yeah! I don't know if the pc has hdr settings for this game or if it's automatically adjusted for us in windows? Because HDR seems to take effect when the game comes on. It's a strange one!.
I don't know if it's real game hdr or it's just the tv taking over and giving me it's fake hdr.
You have to use the app in windows 10 start menu to access the store
it runs pretty smooth, i do get drops down to the 40’s in some areas though so it needs more optimisation!.
it’s a lot better than consoles, so youll get a better experience with any game on pc compared to console.
Graphic are average. Not bad, But not a wow factor either. It is running smoothly on my pc. I have a mid to higher end range pc.
it's nothing to do with the store, it's to do with HDR support for this game.
it's nothing to do with the resolution, The game already has the desktop resolution in the settings, it's all to do with HDR.
i know what you mean by hdr. The only option you have in game are gamma change. you can change the light/dark/gamma/ Color, digital vibrance and so on from graphic card control panel.
what i meant was when you bring up your resolution the game also put it to that resolution. now when i bring up my resolution to let's say 4x, The look of the game becomes like night and day. All the small details becomes much more clear,and in general everything pops out much more clearer. Game gets so much more beautiful instead of, let's say i have a standard resolution at 1920x1080 (wich is not bad per say.)
Here i'm are not realy depended on have AA to smooth out jagged and pixelated edges. wich in turn save me donkey-load of fps +. this helps also with the qualité of the picture. even if this is not a HDR per say.
well according to online less than 50% of hdr games come to pc since developers think windows is to buggy when it comes to hdr and also hdr monitors aren't mainstream enough. There has been tech reviewers showing the issues of strange pink screen ect while hdr is enabled but there was an article saying nvidia wants to fix the issue.
So I know games like sea of theives, rise of the tomb raider and a lot of others haven't got the hdr support on pc so I'm thinking sod2 is the same.
I have tried dsr with state of decay 2 and it looks really good. same with the 4k tv it looks very good also, I just wish it had the hdr!. It's really annoying why devs are not supporting hdr on pc, they say it's because hdr monitors aren't main stream but there is still people like us that have hdr tvs, that can easily play our pc games on, whats the harm in adding the hdr in anyway, it doens't hurt anybody and it's there for the people who do have the hdr tvs and monitors to play on.
