The game has always been about scavenging, increasing the inventory size and looting everything in one go would just be useless.
Also, i do prefer the new way to turn in rucksacks yourself, this did always bother me in the first game to just auto turn in whenever i enter my base.
I have literally gone through every one of these.
Haha good write.
Send this off to the developers of this game so they can get right onto fixing the situations.
Yes there is, on parked car and trunk open press T to transfer (works on any item, not just sacks).
They should also add in the ability for enclaves to scaverage and bring resource back to the base. They too can get stronger and send out people to patrol areas and collect resource to expand their base.
They should add territory take over where base locations can be taken over by other communities and faught for. Diplomacy should be added to commence trade, peace, war, alliance, help attack this, take over this for us, help wipe out raiders, we demand this or war, assist us on this, help wipe out infestation before it gets out of control, we need help, base being overrun by zombies/raiders/enemies please help, etc.
At the same time, as a warlord leader, you can lead a group of people to help with your goal to take over the town. You can also send others to attack certain areas. You can also watch other communities come into your town and try and settle down and expand, thats if you dont have every base locations taken over.
So how exactly is other SoD more fun? Theres less anything in it, except real main story. Other than that it's way more empty.
Maybe they did overhype the game, but honestly outside storyline name one thing that is somehow magically better in SoD1(bugs don't count)?
There is no point in having friendly neighbours, I just killed them all with a sniper after refusing to babysit them, that´s what you have to, they want you to know that they are helpless without you. Single survivors with one time events actually give you stuff, they are the only ones worth helping. (Trying to be nice in my second playthrough but it´s a pain). You can try to keep a single group happy to sell them stuff.
It´s probably one of the reasons this game isn´t on Steam, it would be filled with negative reviews concerning the very poor playtesting in regard to many graphical and mechanical features, however it´s still fully playable.
I have just learned to let go, lost a couple of vehicles due to bugs and missed out on a couple of other things. I did finish it however, the content does function but it´s wrapped up in a very ugly package.
Bear in mind, breakdown and lifeline weren't part of the original release of SoD, either... But the mass of bugs sure was. It took UL a while to mold sod1 to it's full potential, and they will likely do the same with this one.
