What I dislike about state of decay 2
I loved the last series of state of decay but state of decay 2 seems to simular to the others. The only best thing about SOD2 are the graphics and needing gas to fill up the car. Here are some things I dislike.

- Moral quickly drops too easily. They can go from happy to ending up getting in a fight due to low moral. By the way, you cant visually see the fight. It just pops up on the radio that your guys are fighting. I literally stood there beside i member as i was on my phone. Then a member came up on the radio and said that that individual and another member got into a fight. How???? I'm standing right there looking at her.
- They removed the auto rucksack deposit from vehicles. You now have to take one by one out of your car and run into your base to deposit them. Its a waste of time and time consuming.
-Not being able to craft guns, especially as a warlord leader.
-You can easily take out other communities all by your self .
-Ferauls are dumbed down. They use to be able to dodge your car to avoid being hit. Now they just run right into it killing them self.
-Constant waste of base supplies. Ex. lose 1 food. reason: they found a bug in the food. lose 3 meds, reason: they spilled some. lose 2 ammo, reason: they tried crafting explosive items but failed. Just random events that accures too often, especially when you're already low on supplies.
- vehicles gets stuck almost on anything. A small rock, a shovel sticking out the ground, etc.
- extreme gore been removed when it comes to humans death. I remeber when a group of zombies surrounds while your health is low, their finishing move use to be to tear your limbs apart. Not anymore. you just fall to your death and turn to a zombie.
- Cant randomly kill other people in other communities. I tried just walking up to one of them and shoot them in the head and nothing happened. they have to be hostile first. I even try running some over. nothing happens.
-As a warlord leader, you still cant take more than one person with you. When you're doing your leader goal, he/she talks as if they have an army beside them. ex. I was on the last warlord mission to take out the coalition HQ. As i gotten closer to the HQ, my guy said we're close by, move out everybody. Like who was he talking to? Warelord mission is a joke. You have no army and you're mainly a one man army going from one community to another that has between 1 to 3 members and taken them out with ease. as you're doing that, he still talking as if he is leading an army.
- hostile communities does not attack your outposts, members, nor your base. They only attack you within their base. Even during warlord missions, the coalition does not attack you.
-they took away the ability for you to being able to call your base for scavengers to collect rucksacks from other buildings.
-They took away the ability to arm your outpost with mines to take out hords.
- If one of your members get hurt while aiding you, they will not use any medkits, bandages, etc. You have to switch to them just to use it.
-Your community members does not go out and collect things. They stay at the base at all times. You will randomly get messages that "I found some supplies while i was out. hope its helpful." and it will show the useless stuff that was added to your base inventory. The people dont even leave the base.
- Communities dont even fight each other.
- When you beat the game, it doesn't even give you a choice where to start your next game at. You spawn on the same map.
-They have it where there will be a lot of radio chat between the army, survivers, communities, making it seem like that sh*t is actually going down around the map. News flash, nothing is going down around the map. The readio chat is just something added to make it seem like stuff is going on as if the world is a living breathing persistant system.
-motar strikes are useless. The blast radious is that of a firecracker and only 3 shells. I had 2 hords coming out and infested building. I call in the strike, killed only 2 zombies. I was like "WHAT IN F**KING H*LL!". Once i made it out, I disband the artillery base outpost in a heart beat. Like these zombies actually ran through the strike like bad a**es.
- some communities ask for supplies to help them build a facility. Well guess what, they dont build it. Its just another scripted random mission just to boost relations and recieve useless benefits.
-limited to 5 outpost.
-other communities consist of 3 people just standing in a building. No facilities or anything.
- Zombies seems to not be too lethal against other communities. 1 person took out an infested building while i stood by and watched. Since i couldn't kill him and take his gear, I kept on hunking the horn to attract more zombies to take him out. Nope, that didn't work. I even watch 2 guys take out 1 hord, a screamer, a feraul and a juggernaut.
- You cant change your community leader unless you exil them.
- Community leaders servers no purpose except they give access to new buildings and a slight benefit. When I saw community leader, I was like sweet. There must be diplomacy, ordering, and sending different people onto missions dictated by the leader. NOPE!!!

Bugs:
-game will crash if you try to drive your car after calling in artillery strike or when a juggernaut is about to rip a person apart. Cant drive your car while an action is in progress.
- car gets destroyed when bumped into a tree, fence, anything. You can repair your car and it will get destroyed instantly.
- car gets stuck on almost anything.
- car gets launched into air and destroyed if you hit the corner of a fence or trying to drive in a tight area.
- Community members keeps going under the ground.
- player goes underground
- indecators, map, display vanishes.
- gates are open even though the game detects that they're closed. same thing goes for when it is closed.
- Zombies at times goes throug your car. sometimes even standing in the dead center.
- Game crashed while trying to exit the game. gets stuck on the loading screen.
- A horizontal line keeps appearing across the center of the screen as if the game is trying to crash.
- Rucksack on players back disappears even though its there.
- certain buildings wont let you establish an outpost even though it says it can be claimed. missing icon to claim it.
AI and zombies glitches while running. One moment they're there, the next thing you know it they're over there.

Overall, the game seems rushed with features taken away. Please add more features and content. For right now, the game seems empty. Make the zombies much deadlier. Also, if I'm going to be a warlord, let me have an army or start a war where properties and members can actually come at a great lost.

P.S, typed all of this in a rush. will be misspelled words.

Well said find it hard to get into the game, my main reason is dont feel am getting anywhere due to the fact we constantly have to return to outpost with supplies due to low personal storrage and the need to constantly have to return to home base with supplies.

The game has always been about scavenging, increasing the inventory size and looting everything in one go would just be useless.

Also, i do prefer the new way to turn in rucksacks yourself, this did always bother me in the first game to just auto turn in whenever i enter my base.

On the Xbox One, you can transfer items from your car to your base by pressing LT (or RT). This allows an alternative as opposed to manually transfering the items from the car, to your charactors, and then to you base. Anywho, I imagine this feature is on the PC as well; try checking your controls (perhaps using the shoot or aim button with your mouse will do the trick)

I laughed soooo hard reading this because the feelings are so mutual.
I have literally gone through every one of these.
Haha good write.
Send this off to the developers of this game so they can get right onto fixing the situations.

The game just feels so empty.. nothing to do, nothing fun. Better instal my old SOD with breakdown and keep on going through breakdown levels

If there is a way to transfer rucksacks to your base on pc from a vehicle in a parking slot, one of my biggest issues with the game will be solved

Yes there is, on parked car and trunk open press T to transfer (works on any item, not just sacks).

Yes, so empty. The other SOD are fun. This one, just hurry up and destroy the red plague while trying to keep your community happy. They need to make the world more of a breathing living world that actually reacts to your every move. They over hype the part where your every decision has a major impact on the course of the game. No it doesn't. I only lost one member due to her not using the meds she had to heal herself while she was tagging along with me.

I hope the DLC will bring ths game back to life. They could add Survivors walking around the map looking for a place to crash at. They can also add raiders that settles down and build a base. Then they start raiding communities and killing survivors that are walking around. The more resource they bring back to their base, the stronger they will get. They can also increase their roamers group size.
They should also add in the ability for enclaves to scaverage and bring resource back to the base. They too can get stronger and send out people to patrol areas and collect resource to expand their base.
They should add territory take over where base locations can be taken over by other communities and faught for. Diplomacy should be added to commence trade, peace, war, alliance, help attack this, take over this for us, help wipe out raiders, we demand this or war, assist us on this, help wipe out infestation before it gets out of control, we need help, base being overrun by zombies/raiders/enemies please help, etc.
At the same time, as a warlord leader, you can lead a group of people to help with your goal to take over the town. You can also send others to attack certain areas. You can also watch other communities come into your town and try and settle down and expand, thats if you dont have every base locations taken over.

So how exactly is other SoD more fun? Theres less anything in it, except real main story. Other than that it's way more empty.

Maybe they did overhype the game, but honestly outside storyline name one thing that is somehow magically better in SoD1(bugs don't count)?

Press T while parked to deposit items.

There is no point in having friendly neighbours, I just killed them all with a sniper after refusing to babysit them, that´s what you have to, they want you to know that they are helpless without you. Single survivors with one time events actually give you stuff, they are the only ones worth helping. (Trying to be nice in my second playthrough but it´s a pain). You can try to keep a single group happy to sell them stuff.

It´s probably one of the reasons this game isn´t on Steam, it would be filled with negative reviews concerning the very poor playtesting in regard to many graphical and mechanical features, however it´s still fully playable.

I have just learned to let go, lost a couple of vehicles due to bugs and missed out on a couple of other things. I did finish it however, the content does function but it´s wrapped up in a very ugly package.

You can autodeposit EVERYTHING from the trunk of a car, it just needs to be in a parking space.

Bear in mind, breakdown and lifeline weren't part of the original release of SoD, either... But the mass of bugs sure was. It took UL a while to mold sod1 to it's full potential, and they will likely do the same with this one.
