Then imagine a game where you cant see anything because you have 4 people all pulling up info on the main screen taking away from the game play.
It would be!
Looks like they're not overly interested in making a traditional video game. They're far more focused on creating a singular 'experience'. Is this fair? Well... It is their time after all.
If the focus was a traditional video game, then it would be a no brainer to have multiple input sources. Controllers, keyboards, track-pads, facial gestures, and so on.
Can we change their mind? Unfortunately no. Making video games comes from within. The mysterious dev team would _need_ to love chatting around a whiteboard, clapping and hugging(you know modern game development), and spinning around as they all squiggle down lines to envision this traditional UI. It's certainly not an idea born from us non-game-owners writing with anonymous nametags about how they need to slave away for 3 more months on something the team already pushed back on.
