I hope this might be a placeholder, because no other store has the price listed and 50€ would be crazy for a game like this.

Why? I mean, the game has been translated into several languages, even though many games these days only have English dubbing. If the scope and replay value are right, I don't see why $50 wouldn't be justified.

It is. Companies like Blizzard and Bethesda are failing for trying to sell their AAAA games for 70 dollars. Steam has hundreds of great tactical games for a fraction of this price even without any promotion.

I looked at this game and clicked because it looked interesting, but the price put me off. Hell, clair obscur 33 is 45 bucks (and uses a more favorable regionalized pricing strategy too). To each his own, but I'm buying that game instead of this today.
