Pump but ...

... is each player going to have their character saved or will it be the host with a save file that contains everyone? I see the developer is a regular around here and was curious but mostly wanted to express how excited I am for this. Already got several people wanting to play.

Only 1 person buys the game. So yes the person running the game and saving the game is the one who will have the characters saved on their pc with that save file.

To expand on this a little in case it helps.

If you are the person who bought the game and your friends join your campaign, then the campaign will be tied to your copy of the game. So each time you launch the game, you will have access to this campaign.

Now, if one of your friends buys the game as well, they will not be able to access the campaign you started together. They will have their own copy of the game, and therefore, will be able to start fresh campaigns.
